WEICON Organic Solvent-Based Visor Cleaner 200 ml

Weicon Organic Solvent-Based Visor Cleaner 200 ml is a technical spray cleaner developed for cleaning and maintaining sensitive plastic and glass surfaces. With its antistatic and anti-reflective properties, it helps reduce glare and improve visibility. Since it is designed for streak-free cleaning, it offers a practical maintenance solution for optical surfaces such as protective visors and goggles. The product is developed by WEICON GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.

Sensitive Surface Cleaning with the Visor Cleaner Technical Spray
This technical spray is designed for regular cleaning not only of visors, but also of welding face shields, protective goggles, and safety glass surfaces. It is also used on plastic housings of equipment such as CNC machines, printers, and scanners. It aims to gently remove insect residues, dust, dirt, oil/grease, and nicotine-related contamination, and stands out with its approach of avoiding streaks/marks on the surface. The antistatic effect supports reduced dust adhesion after cleaning, while the anti-reflective character can help lower glare.

Organic Solvent-Based Composition and Performance Approach
The product is described as being based on a “highly active organic solvent,” which is preferred to support fast soil-dissolving performance. Thanks to its aerosol form, it is intended to provide even application on larger surfaces, which adds practicality especially on visor and glass surfaces. The core performance focus is to combine cleaning and care while minimizing residues that could impair visibility. In optically critical applications, a test application to avoid surface damage and a more controlled wiping method on sensitive materials are considered appropriate.

Application Method and Proper Use Steps
Shaking the can before use is recommended, as it helps the product distribute evenly on the surface. After spraying, a short dwell time allows the soil to loosen, and the surface is then wiped clean. On sensitive surfaces or near electrical equipment, instead of spraying directly, applying the product onto a soft, lint-free cloth and wiping with light pressure provides a more controlled method. For stubborn contamination, repeating the process is intended to deliver more consistent results.

Safe Use, Compatible Surfaces, and Sector-Based Applications
Due to its aerosol form, the product falls into the “extremely flammable” category; it is important not to expose pressurized containers to heat and to apply it in well-ventilated areas. During technical spray application, avoiding eye contact and minimizing inhalation of the aerosol are basic occupational safety requirements. Intended compatible uses include sensitive plastic- and glass-based surfaces such as visors, welding mask shields, protective goggles, and similar vision equipment. In manufacturing plants, it supports maintenance of safety equipment, cleaning of protective gear in metalworking and welding lines, and quick cleaning before surface preparation in maintenance workshops—where the technical spray format adds speed in the field.
