Adhetron Catron 2150 is an ethyl-based, high-viscosity industrial adhesive developed for multi-purpose bonding applications. Catron 2150 Technical Structure and Performance Features

This industrial adhesive is a colorless liquid, ethyl-based, high-viscosity cyanoacrylate system with a viscosity of approximately 1850 ± 300 mPa·s. Its high-viscosity structure supports controlled flow, providing more stable use in vertical or delicate application points. The product is designed to deliver faster fixture speed among high-viscosity cyanoacrylates and can achieve initial strength on different materials in a short time. Its flash point is above 85 °C, and its shelf life is stated as 12 months under proper storage conditions.

Curing Behavior and Strength Values

Under conditions of 22 °C and 50% relative humidity, Catron 2150 can reach an initial fixture strength of 0.1 N/mm² in approximately 40 seconds on steel, 11 seconds on EPDM, and 10 seconds on ABS surfaces. Its temperature resistance range is given as approximately -55 °C to +95 °C, and it is also stated to retain a significant portion of its initial strength at certain temperatures. Lap shear strength values are above 17 N/mm² on grit-blasted steel, above 18 N/mm² on polycarbonate, above 13 N/mm² on aluminum, and above 14 N/mm² on PVC. These data show that the product provides not only fast bonding but also reliable, non-structural assembly performance across multiple material combinations.
