Weicon Copper Repair Stick

WEICON Copper Repair Stick is an epoxy-based, copper-filled repair putty developed for the rapid repair of cracks, seepage, and leaks. This product is a two-component, epoxy-based repair system filled with copper. According to the technical data sheet, the mixing ratio is 1:1 by weight, the mixed density is approximately 1./cm³, and the maximum gap-filling capacity is 15 mm. In addition, the product is stated to reach initial strength in approximately 10 minutes at 20 °C, become mechanically workable in approximately 60 minutes, and achieve final hardness within 24 hours. Before application, the surface must be clean, sound, and as free from oil as possible. According to the technical documentation, dust, dirt, oil, grease, rust, and residues can negatively affect adhesion; therefore, preliminary cleaning is especially important on pipes and connection surfaces. The required amount is cut off and kneaded until a uniform color is obtained, then pressed onto the area to be repaired. At room temperature, the repaired area becomes suitable for drilling, sanding, or thread cutting after approximately 60 minutes.
