Weicon Burner Cleaner Spray 500 ml is a technical spray cleaner formulated to quickly dissolve contaminants such as oil, grease, and soot that build up on burner components. Its aerosol form makes application easier in hard-to-reach areas, and it aims to speed up maintenance processes by evaporating without leaving residue after cleaning. Its silicone-free composition can be an advantage in many maintenance scenarios in terms of surface compatibility. The product is developed by WEICON GmbH & Co. KG (Germany).
Product definition of WEICON Burner Cleaner as a technical spray
This technical spray is a special cleaner/degreaser intended to dissolve dirt layers that reduce operating efficiency in burner equipment. The formulation is designed so that, within a propellant-driven aerosol system, solvent carriers penetrate the surface and help loosen contamination. Its transparent appearance and citrus-like odor provide visual and sensory control during application. The residue-free evaporation feature helps reduce the need for subsequent cleaning, especially on burner components that require adjustment and inspection.
Formulation, performance approach, and durability
This technical spray used for burner cleaning focuses on removing not only oil and soot, but also rust and other types of contamination that may appear on burner parts in practice. Residue-free evaporation aims to reduce the risk of leaving a film before parts are put back into operation and helps with time management in maintenance procedures. Being silicone-free can be a reason for preference on certain surfaces and when working with subsequent processes or other maintenance chemicals. A shelf life of 24 months at room temperature is specified, supporting predictability in stock management.
Application method, surface compatibility, and points to consider
In application, a sufficient amount is sprayed onto the part, allowed to act briefly, and if necessary the loosened dirt is removed by wiping with a clean cloth. For stubborn contamination, the process can be repeated to increase the cleaning effect step by step. It is stated that contact with plastic and varnished/painted surfaces should be avoided; therefore, on sensitive coatings it is appropriate to test compatibility on a small area first. Due to its pressurized packaging, it should be protected from direct sunlight and not exposed to temperatures above +50 °C.
Sector-specific use and key advantages
This technical spray helps standardize the cleaning step in burner maintenance services, boiler room operations, industrial heating systems, HVAC maintenance teams, and process heating lines. It is particularly suitable for components prone to dirt build-up, such as burner connections, deflector/baffle plates, fan impellers, inner housing surfaces, and ignition electrodes. While its residue-free evaporation aims to minimize unwanted film formation on parts after cleaning, its fast action supports shorter maintenance time. Classification with an ISSA code can be an advantage that facilitates product tracking, especially in industrial procurement and maintenance documentation.
