WEICON WEICONLOCK® AN 306-60 is a single-component anaerobic industrial adhesive developed for assembling cylindrical parts and especially for restoring fits such as worn bearing races and bush/sleeve joints. It cures in the absence of oxygen between metal surfaces, aiming to create a high-strength, hard-to-disassemble bond between parts. Shear strength is reported as 25–30 N/mm² according to DIN 54452, supporting applications with high load-bearing requirements in cylindrical assemblies. Temperature resistance is specified from -60 °C to +150 °C, offering operating tolerance for many machine elements. The time to reach handling strength at room temperature is 15–30 minutes, and full cure time is stated as 3–6 hours, making assembly flow more predictable during planned shutdowns. A usage note is also provided for threaded connections up to R 2″, meaning it can be considered as an industrial adhesive approach for certain suitable threaded applications as well.

Application method, surface preparation, and compatible systems
For best results, surfaces should be free of oil and dirt; if possible, after cleaning and degreasing, light roughening is recommended to improve adhesion. The product should be applied as a thin, even film using the dosing tip on the package, and direct contact of the dosing tip with metal is not recommended. For press fits and larger assemblies, wetting both surfaces with a thin layer helps improve bond uniformity. After application, parts should be assembled without delay; in slip fits, lightly rotating the parts during assembly can help spread the product more evenly over the surface.
