WEICON TopLube High-Performance Liquid Grease 400 ml is an aerosol technical spray lubricant developed for long-lasting lubrication of mechanical parts exposed to high loads. Its synthetic and transparent structure makes it easier to control flow and spread on the applied area. With a very high capillary effect, it penetrates narrow gaps and helps reduce friction and wear. The product is developed by WEICON GmbH & Co. KG, based in Germany.
How TopLube liquid grease works as a technical spray
This technical spray supports more stable operation of moving components by forming a thin, adherent film layer with its “tacky lubricant” character. Thanks to its capillary penetration capability, it helps the lubricant reach working clearances in connection points, bearing areas, and gear contact surfaces. Its pressure-resistant and water-repellent properties contribute to maintaining the film layer in humid environments and help reduce performance loss caused by corrosion. Being silicone-free is a practical advantage that helps reduce the risk of unwanted film after maintenance in certain processes.
TopLube performance range, resistance, and material compatibility
The product’s temperature resistance is specified as -40°C to +200°C, supporting continuity of technical spray lubrication under different operating conditions. In the technical data, the kinematic viscosity is listed as 79 mm²/s at 40°C and 9 mm²/s at 100°C; these values provide a general framework for film formation and flow behavior. In terms of compatibility with plastics and elastomers, it is stated to show no adverse effects on materials such as PTFE, PE, and PA, while limited resistance may occur with materials such as PP, POM, and NBR; therefore, testing on a small area is the right approach for sensitive applications. Due to its pressurized aerosol packaging, it must be protected from direct sunlight and not exposed to temperatures above +50°C.
Application method and maintenance routine
Ensuring the surface is clean and dry before application supports adhesion of the lubricant film and repeatable performance. After shaking the can, spraying a thin layer from about 15 cm helps reduce excessive product use and dirt accumulation. This technical spray is positioned to allow controlled application even while equipment is running, provided suitable safety conditions are ensured. In areas where excess product buildup is observed, lightly wiping with a cloth to leave only the required film layer improves maintenance discipline.
Industry applications and key advantages
The product is suitable for use on many components such as power-transmitting bolts, gears and worm gears, high-speed machine parts, joints and couplings, wheels and bearings, and spring assemblies. In production facilities, maintenance workshops, automotive supply industries, and general machine manufacturing, the technical spray form offers practicality for friction management of parts operating under demanding conditions. Its water-repellent and pressure-resistant character supports preserving the lubricant film in outdoor environments or areas with a risk of wash-off. The presence of ISSA and IMPA codes is an additional advantage that provides classification convenience in industrial procurement and maintenance management.
