WEICON Chrome Silver Spray 400 ml is a surface coating product developed to achieve an extra-brilliant, chrome-like appearance on metal surfaces. Application method and surface preparation

Before application, the surface being clean, dry, and free of oil is decisive for coating quality. The can should be shaken until the mixing ball is clearly audible, and spraying should be done in cross coats from about 25 cm distance. For best results, keeping ambient temperature close to room conditions and applying thin coats is recommended; this helps reduce the risk of runs and creates a more uniform film. When working with this technical spray, parts should be handled safely only after the initial drying on the coated surface is complete.

Drying, film behavior, and process control

After application, the surface becomes dust-dry in about 10 minutes, and full hardening is typically completed within 4–6 hours. From a flexibility standpoint, the absence of hairline cracking in a standard bend test is an indicator supporting film integrity. Not requiring a topcoat provides a process advantage for maintenance teams that want to meet decorative and protective coating needs in one step. When stored under suitable conditions in unopened packaging, the shelf life is stated as 24 months, offering predictability for stock planning.
